Rock Band

After playing a few times at Olaf's apartment, we finally dished out the money for Rock Band. I used our reward zone coupons from purchasing the appliances. It was well worth the money to get it since everyone can play. I am still waiting for Richard (or anyone else) to come over so we can jam together. That is all I have for now. Maybe I'll do a Grand Theft Auto review for my next post.

Best Chips Ever

Carrie and I were over at Olaf's apartment a few weeks ago and noticed that he had some chips laying around. We were hungry so I looked down and saw these. (They say Wild Berry Patch)
Being skeptical, I took a few and tried them. They were great! They have a little bit of sugar on them so the berry flavors can come out very nicely. Carrie had some too and we were hooked. They sell them at Target so go out and try some.

Could this be the new way we share photos and other files? I wouldn't mind it this way. I usually try and stay away from places like myspace.com because of all the phishing scams and potential viruses that you can get there. If this site is free I will be signing up for it when it goes live or when I get a beta invite, whichever comes first.

2 Week Recap

Well since I have time to blog I will. Carrie and I went out with Richard and Erin a few Fridays ago which was fun. We went driving around uptown Minneapolis trying to find Sawatdee which is a Thai restaurant. We found out that the location we were looking for had closed fortunately I knew of another location that was still open. I had the Curry Duck which was a tad spicy but was very good. Definitely on my list to go back there.

After dinner, We went to go see our new house that still waiting to close on (another story that I don't wanna get into at this moment). We drove up to Brooklyn Park and saw it (from the car since we couldn't get into it). Richard wanted to go to Krispy Kreme since we were by Maple Grove but I informed him that they closed down a few weeks ago. So we went back to Richard and Erin's place for some NHL 08 and some idle chatter.

This last week I have been on the night shift at work which goes from 5:30 to 2:00 am. I am not too happy with the shift because the only time I can see Carrie is when she is in bed. Last night was probably my worst night of the week (so far). The truck I used was having some break pedal problems, which I promptly wrote up in the vehicle inspection report. At the end of the night my scanner crashed, I am still waiting to see what the results of that are.

Next Blog: The new house.

Work (and other random thoughts)

Work has been very uneventful as of late. With the loss of Olaf from the building due to a promotion, I have needed to seek others in fulfilling my social depravity. Lately, I have been trying to get out of work a little early because IM has been cracking down on overtime. Which has benefited me a little because of wedding and house appointments. Last week I received employee of the quarter for 4th quarter 2007 which also meant a bonus check of two-hundred dollars (woohoo for that). Carrie and I are going out tonight with Erin and Richard....details to come later.

I am currently listening too: Jonathan Coulton's version of Still Alive from the video game Portal

My life at this minute

I am currently working at Iron Mountain Off-Site Data Protection as a spare driver. I am engaged to my lovely fiancee Carrie and we will be moving to Brooklyn Park at the end of the month. We will be getting married in the beginning of November and will be going to Florida for a week for our honeymoon. I love hockey and we have season tickets to the Minnesota Wild. I also love to play World of Warcraft. Carrie and I play together and are almost to level 60! I will be posting more later about my life in the fast lane!
